Love that this place is pet-friendly, which makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable when you can have your furkid with you. The yakitori was perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of smoky flavour. The absolute standout for me was the chutoro foie gras uni dish, that is easily my favourite dish of the night. It melts in your mouth, with rich, buttery textures with layers of flavour that pops with just one bite! Highly recommended !

Yakitori One at Suntec City is a wonderful dining spot. They offer both Omakase and ala carte options, making it easy to enjoy a customised experience. The sashimi selection was sweet and fresh, and the botan ebi and snow crab with jelly were delightful. The yakitori was also grilled very well with great flavour and texture. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality Japanese cuisine in Suntec!

An outstanding yakitori experience from start to finish. Every skewer was grilled to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and beautifully balanced with just the right touch of charcoal. The chicken was incredibly fresh, from classic thigh and skin to more adventurous cuts such as neck, wing stick boneless, crispy trachea, wing tips boneless, all executed with skill and respect for the ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the pacing of the dishes spot-on. Sake pairing recommendations were excellent, making the whole meal feel thoughtfully curated. This is the kind of place that reminds you how special yakitori can be when done right. We meant to stay for one round. Then another skewer came out. Then another hours later we were still there, plates cleared, drinks empty, completely content. Everything was cooked with precision and soul. That’s the danger of a truly great yakitori spot. Apart from Ala carte menu, the staff also explain to us that they offer late night Omakase such as $68 and $98 omakase set which starts from 10:30PM till 12:30AM (last timing to enjoy your full 1.5hrs Omakase dining experience, slow and steady). Last but not least, this is the kind of restaurant you return to not out of habit, but out of trust. Highly Recommended for all the Yakitori Lovers! Can’t wait to come back!

Had an outdoor table where the beers happy hour pricing is applicable. But it was cozy and not affected by the working crowd bustling around. However, it does get warm if not seated at one of the only 2 tables under a ceiling fan. Service was prompt and pleasant. The Spicy Marinated Seafood Platter and Fried Tofu with Wagyu Paste were very nice and quite worthy of the pricing. Had some skewers but was particularly disturbed when we mentioned to the waitress that the chicken breast cubes were not cooked on the inside (mushy) and was told that it's their standard medium rare. But she did offer to have them returned to be well-done. Since when chicken can be eaten medium rare??

A great spot for casual bites and drinks. The outdoor tables overlook the Fountain of Wealth and busy traffic below—perfect for people-watching while unwinding or catching up with friends. There’s a wide range of creative dishes and rare cuts on the menu, all reasonably priced. We started with the signature salad—refreshing and nicely dressed—followed by the chutoro topped with grated foie gras, and uni, wasabi filling. The foie gras added a cotton-candy-like texture that melted beautifully. The uni was sadly hardly noticeable because of the wasabi. The tuna itself had a small chewy tendon, but the overall combo still worked well. Yakitori came next, served one by one on a shared plate—great for enjoying together. The tongue (thin cut) and heart aorta (hatsumoto) were standouts—perfectly grilled and full of flavor. Hatsumoto especially felt like something you’d only find at quality yakitori spots. The neck meat and chicken fillet with wasabi were tender but less memorable—probably ones we’d skip next time. The highlight: tsukune (meatball) with raw egg. Easily one of the best we’ve had—juicy, packed with crunchy cartilage, smoky from the grill, and coated with melted cheese and chopped perilla leaves that balanced the sweet-savory sauce perfectly. Dipping it into the yolk was pure bliss. It was so good we ordered another two extras—no sharing this time! The foie gras rice cake was another must-try. Perfectly grilled foie gras and rice cake, glazed with yakitori sauce, topped with green peppers, and wrapped in seaweed—a simple yet elevated bite that’s just heavenly. We ended with the spicy seafood platter (technically an appetizer). The rich, spicy-savory broth coated the abalone, clams, and prawns beautifully—like a mix between fresh steamed seafood and a cold, spicy soup. A great way to wrap up the meal. The only small wish is that they’d serve pure umeshu instead of mixing it with another liquor, which overpowered the ume flavor a bit.

Decent yakitori place in a classy interior. Indoor seating area is nice and cosy, but not your traditional Japanese izakaya setup, but a nice place to bring a date I’d think. Food was good, with special mention to some of the skewers like the chicken liver, heart, both of which were very tender and juicy, not too dry. Tsukune was very unique, where they have blended the yolk with Japanese curry, which was a refreshing take on the dish. Some of the less well made skewers in my opinion were the chicken skin and tails. Otherwise most of the dishes were of good quality, worth a future visit.

Great spot for yakitori and Japanese food. The skewers are well grilled with good smokiness, juicy inside, and nicely seasoned. Sashimi is fresh and generously cut, especially the salmon. Nice relaxed atmosphere with comfortable seating, good for hanging out with friends. Wine selection pairs well with the food. Service is friendly and attentive. Overall a solid place for quality Japanese food and a casual dining experience. Would definitely return.
